The Pomeranian is the miniaturized version of the spitz group of sled dogs from the Arctic, but Pomeranians are from Central Europe. They have ferocious personalities, fox-like-faces, and fluffy coats. Their coats are usually colored orange or fawn, but there are dozens of colors. They are small dogs only growing up to 7 inches tall and 7 pounds. They can be injured easily and should be played with gently, but Poms love making friends great for a family with kids.
